Although the philosophy and techniques described here are Shindo Muso-Ryu jojutsu, you will find they apply to any martial art or style you may be practicing.  Shindo Muso-Ryu shares a common heritage with all forms of traditional bujutsu (martial arts) . . . the heritage of bushido (the Way of the Warrior).

Jojutsu is a completely unique martial art:  the use of a slender stick in self-defense against a deadly samurai sword.  Training in this exquisitely precise martial art can have a profound effect on the courage, confidence, and character of those who practice it.   So browse freely around our site and use whatever you find helpful in your study and practice of jojutsu.
